Monsoon Silence

A watercolor built from atmosphere rather than detail. Layers of transparent grey-green pigment create the sensation of humid tropical air where vegetation slowly disappears into mist and rain. Monzunové ticho

Akvarel postavený spíše na atmosféře než na detailu. Transparentní vrstvy šedozeleného pigmentu vytvářejí pocit vlhkého tropického vzduchu, ve kterém se vegetace pomalu rozpouští do mlhy a deště. Kompozice zůstává záměrně otevřená a měkká, takže důležitou součástí obrazu se stává i světlo a prázdný prostor.

Malý starý letoun vysoko nad džunglí přináší jemný příběhový motiv, aniž by narušil meditativní charakter obrazu. Působí vzdáleně a téměř neskutečně — jako vzpomínka objevující se v mlze.
